Delicious White Wine Sangria No Sugar Added with Amaretto

no sugar sangria

I cannot say enough good things about this Sangria recipe. It is so delicious and so easy to throw together, for any occasion, in any season. You can use whatever fruit you have on hand as long as you keep the ratio of Amaretto to wine the same. This Sangria is definitely “Company Worthy.”

Every time I make this it is gone faster than I can ladle it over the ice cubes. I love easy recipes like this where everyone is raving and thinks you put in so much effort, but really you threw it all together in no time flat. The key to this recipe is to make it 24 hours ahead of time in order for the wine to absorb the most flavor from the fruit.

I have tried several fruit combinations and so far strawberry and peach is my favorite for spring and summer, and pomegranate, apple, blueberry, orange is my favorite for the winter months. If you try the recipe and discover a wonderful fruit combination, please share it with other readers in the comments below.

Salud!

  • 1-2 Apples (Sliced without core.)
  • 1 Cup Blueberries.
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate seeds.
  • 2 Bottles Pinot Grigio (Or another dry and not too sweet wine like Chardonnay.) I used 750ml Bottles.

STRAWBERRY & PEACH SANGRIA

  • 1 Cup Amaretto (Di Saronno brand from Trader Joe’s is what we used.)
  • 2 Peaches, Cut into slices with the peel on.
  • 1 pint strawberries. Can be whole, cored, or sliced.
  • 2 Bottles Pinot Grigio. NOTE: Do not choose a sweet wine for this one. A dry and not too sweet wine like Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio works well.

Put cut up fruit into a pitcher. Add amaretto and wine. Let seep 24 hours in the refrigerator.Use the fruit you have on hand.

The beauty of Sangria is that the measurements don’t have to be exact.
